Show Notes

Tanya Geisler – certified Life and Business Coach (CPCC), TEDxWomen speaker, and writer – teaches women and women-identified people, how to step into their starring roles, own their authority, and overcome the Impostor Complex in their life, in their work, and in their life’s work. We are so blessed to have her join us on the Sparkle Hour!

[6:43] These women were incapable of internalizing their success. They were more than able to internalize any of their failures, but their successes — they would attribute to factors totally outside of themselves: luck, fluke, timing, the stars.

[7:34] Anybody who is high-functioning, high-achieving with strong values of mastery, integrity and excellence experiences [The Imposter Complex].

[11:10] Our job has to be to rest in celebration…to integrate all the work that we’ve done so we have this steady reserve for being able to draw on all of our successes.

[11:45] We tell people to celebrate the small victories. Don’t just wait for the big, awesome things…celebrate the small victories along the way!

[18:42] If you’re experiencing leaky boundaries or people pleasing, you are having a crisis of integrity.  If you’re experiencing procrastination and perfectionism,  you’re having a crisis of action.

[19:50]  What the world needs — really, really needs — is to watch a woman live, speak, and stand in her truth without explaining, equivocating, bridging, polishing, smoothing.

[20:41] I’m more than allowed to be here, in this place and taking up the space that I do.

[25:27] It’s really about finding what that thing is for you that brings you great joy, because life is really ridiculously, painfully short.

[41:14] Because I know what my joy is, I can access it even inside of grief.
