Show Notes
[3:43] That’s called the Nun-ya factor. It’s nun-ya business!
[4:12] Every time the holidays approach, I feel it in my body; I feel that tension kick up; I feel that little bit of fear; I feel that little girl getting scared about what is about to happen. And I comfort myself with all the food.
[4:25] Oh pumpkin pie, we are best friends!
[4:44] It is okay to reach out for help. There is no shame in asking for some therapy. And there is absolutely nothing wrong or at fault with you for feeling how you feel — cause this stuff can be triggering.
[5:05] This is the time of year when people are required to share space and time with people who have been unkind to them.
[5:32] You can opt out. You can say, “You know what? I’m just going to take a pass on that this year.”
[5:41] You deserve safety.
[7:01] Get all that shit off ya shoulders.
